THE NEW JERSEY GREEN BOOK

The NJ Green Book is a travel guide featuring 144 Black-owned restaurants, event venues, and shops across New Jersey that you need to visit before the year ends. They're worth the trip!

This publication pays homage to Victor Hugo Green and the The Negro Motorist Green Book, which was published from 1937 to 1967 and highlighted safe spaces for Black travelers during an era of segregation and racial discrimination.

Print and digital presale copies will be available beginning June 19, 2026 (Juneteenth).
